NVC: How to Build Bridges
004
Body language, tone of voice, inflection, word choice, and actual comprehended definition of a word can all affect the perspective of others we communicate with. Most importantly of all of these things is the difference between observation and judgment.
Please join us as we discuss Nonviolent Communication: How to Build Bridges, in episode 004 of The Philosophy of Voluntaryism
The Unintended Consequences of Taxation
003
What is the true cost of interjecting unwarranted coercion into peaceful acts?
That’s a huge question to answer. We break this down into smaller, yet still fairly big topics.
-The Broken Window Fallacy
-The Tragedy of the Commons
-How taxes coerce conformity in other aspects of life
-How tax funded regulations encourage poverty
002 The Importance of Peace
In this 2nd episode of the Philosophy of Voluntaryism we discuss the importance of peace.
Peace is a popularly invoked concept. It is discussed or raised from everyone to beauty pageant contestants to United Nations speakers and the war torn lands of Somalia to the creators of youtube content. Peace is important, but what is it?
There is more to peace than it being the end game. Peace is a means to an infinite number of ends. Peace is the multipurpose tool for the cognitively advanced mind which understands why it places value upon itself and why others place value upon themselves. Peace is the amplifier of positivity, productivity, and creativity.

Patience and Time
Patience is not a virtue to be employed exclusively for others. Patience is a virtue most frequently and effectively employed by ourselves for ourselves.
Removing Humanity
We are all on our own paths to enlightenment. This is one of those concepts which is known, but not necessarily recognized. We often see the struggles of others as being their own ignorance while demanding our nescience be empathized with.
Content, Context, Compassion
The sentiments of 'possessions are just things which can be replaced, but your life cannot be,' I find to be dangerous. What are the acquisition and protection of things if not the reverence for the amount of time, intellect, and labor of one's self to make possible such a cheap and easily discarded thing?

Echo Chamber of War
War is the destructive idea of a less civilized period of Humanity's history. Government is the precursor to war. And centralized banking is the perpetual motion machine which makes funding these wars possible.
Innocent Curiosity, Spiteful Fear
Sometimes the results of our actions are consequences of a negative fashion. Other times these results are positive rewards. No matter the situation we find ourselves in concerning the events of our past catching up to us, it is to the benefit of the quality of our character, seen and unseen, for us to make the time to grow.
From a Certain Point of View
What people often relay is true, but from a certain point of view. Namely their own. Everyone has their own perspective. This doesn't make it false. Perspective is based upon what context is known and comprehended. What makes a perspective manipulative is the intent behind it.
