Patience and Time

Patience is not a virtue to be employed exclusively for others. Patience is a virtue most frequently and effectively employed by ourselves for ourselves.

Removing Humanity

We are all on our own paths to enlightenment. This is one of those concepts which is known, but not necessarily recognized. We often see the struggles of others as being their own ignorance while demanding our nescience be empathized with.

Content, Context, Compassion

The sentiments of 'possessions are just things which can be replaced, but your life cannot be,' I find to be dangerous. What are the acquisition and protection of things if not the reverence for the amount of time, intellect, and labor of one's self to make possible such a cheap and easily discarded thing?

The Establishment

The establishment, or government, is not exactly what we think it is.
It's not a bunch of men in guns that are corralling us into submission. It's our inability to process information and problem solve because we lack other pertinent information to perform actual problem solving; and the courage to do so in the face of enormous apathetic and illusory champions of the status quo.

Building Blocks

Knowing ‘how’ to do something is very much different than knowing ‘why’ something is done. It is easy to give shallow answers to why something is done, such as using both hands while climbing a ladder; so we don’t fall. But do we understand the physics behind why using two empty hands to hold the ladder aid in our ability to maintain our balance?

Self Investment

Voluntaryism is a forward thinking philosophy which does not sacrifice potential of future relations for immediate gains in the present as if people are disposable tissues. That is what government does by punishing those whom disobey. It is not the intended policy or end result of government’s noble intention to protect though.

Foolish Wisemen

If you don’t do ‘x’, you’re what’s wrong with my life, the world, or Humanity!

We’ve all probably heard a variation of this statement before. You know, like the popular guilt implicating statement of, ‘You wasted your vote on a third party that couldn’t ever have won and caused the worst candidate to win. Now we all have to suffer even more!’

How often do we go full blast to explain to someone how they are wrong?

More often than we should. We often get a lot of the criticism parts in, but fail to effectively follow through on the constructive parts.

Voluntaryism is the understanding of why and how our actions affect the choices of others to be peaceful, neutral, or hostile towards us. Of course our actions are not the only influencing factor in that regard; though they are a major factor. So it is important to understand why Voluntaryism is more than the recognition of value others place upon themselves.
