The Age of Man-The Rise of I Can

 

The age of man,
the dawn of creativity,
the rise of I can,
the quest for productivity.

 

Where ingenuity meets need
education becomes key,
so jealousy spawns greed
that the busy do not see.

 

Confiscation becomes law.
The Wicked stand tall;
and the honest withdraw
at Tyranny’s call.

 

There is no reply.
The Wicked grow cross.
The fearful ask why.
Because Tyranny demands to be boss!

 

Lies and deceit,
comfort and ease,
seem such a treat
for they surely do please.

 

Through honest labor,
toil, and sweat
you shall know thy neighbor
and evil will fret!
