Burr!  Burr!  It’s cold up here!
What on this day do I have to fear?
Burr!  Burr! A Chill is on the air!
With it comes a terrible scare!

 

Ho Hum!  Ho Hum! Boom!  Boom!  Boom!
There is the sound of the war drum’s doom!

For mercy we did plea!

But tyranny was thy decree!
We have naught a gold piece!
Yet their brutes refuse to cease!

 

Ho Hum!  Ho Hum! Boom!  Boom!  Boom!
There is the sound of the war drum’s doom!

 

We ask only what is fair!
Yet the Red Shield offers US  A  nightmare!
We spoke out and screamed!
Still the bankers’ coins gleamed!

 

Ho Hum!  Ho Hum! Boom!  Boom!  Boom!
There is the sound of the war drum’s doom!

 

Her torch is spent!
Our freedom is bent!
Our house is wrecked!
Evil walks unchecked!

 

Ho Hum!  Ho Hum! Boom!  Boom!  Boom!
There is the sound of the war drum’s doom!

 

Click!  Click!  Click!
Tick!  Tick!  Tick!
Not for honor or for glory!
Not for wealth or for story!

 

Ho Hum!  Ho Hum! Boom!  Boom!  Boom!
There is the sound of the war drum’s doom!

 

To battle we must go.
This doth history know!
No more golden-green shackles!
We shall silence the Red Shield’s cackles!

There is the sound of the war drum’s doom!

 

Not for Eagle or Cross or Sickle and Hammer.
For Freedom from tyranny but not for glamour!
Idol and confused are the banners of the world.
Soon will the fury of the people be unfurled!
